A conference for accounting, business, economics and legal educators.
With over 30 presentations and workshops, there will be many opportunities to learn new classroom strategies, update your knowledge and skills in business education and network with colleagues.
Some of the highlights of the program include a masterclass conducted by Australian National University (ANU) and tailored curriculum visits to the High Court of Australia, Museum of Australian Democracy, National Film and Sound Archive, National Museum of Australia, and Parliament House. The conference also offers plenty of networking opportunities with functions hosted by ANU and the High Court of Australia.
Canberra is a great place to bring the whole family for a holiday break in October with award-winning restaurants, iconic national attractions and scenic outdoor adventures. The complimentary National Capital Teacher Pass provides delegates with free access to participating National Capital attractions whilst visiting Canberra. Conference social events and excursions will also be offered as an Accompanying Person registration for those who register before the early bird closing date (30 June).
EBE NSW through the Professional Teachers’ Council NSW- NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) as the endorsed provider of QTC Registered professional development for the maintenance of accreditation at Proficient, Highly Accomplished, and Lead levels.
Completing the Business Educators Australasia 2018 Biennial Conference, 3 – 5 October 2018 will contribute 13 Hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2; 6.4.2; 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
