As further demonstration of the need to develop financial literacy in our students, the Australian Government has committed $10m to this work from 2010–2013. ASIC is leading this initiative delivering face to face professional learning to 6000 teachers as well as developing digital and online resources for both teachers and students, linked to the Australian Curriculum.
