Business and Economics, Civics and Citizenship
BEA and its affiliate associations have been involved in the shape of the Australian Curriculum – in terms of its development and and review – within the Economics and Business content in the HASS learning area, and to some extent also within Civics and Citizenship.
With the ACARA announcement of a review of the Australian Curriculum in mid 2020, BEA has responded with an initial request to be ‘consulted’ and is developing further strategic responses to advocate for its affiliates in putting a strong case to protect the preservation of the essential; learnings of Economics and Business and Civics and Citizenship to which every student should be exposed.
